Cookies Policy of the ARGeo application This Cookies Policy refers exclusively to the ARGeo application and explains how and for what reasons Fimesp Srl ("Fimesp", "we", "our") uses Cookies and other similar technologies to ensure the user the use of the ARGeo application and the services provided through it in a reliable manner and in the best possible form. Definitions 1.1 User: the natural person accessing the ARGeo application by registering in the name and on behalf of himself/herself or of another natural or legal person and who uses the ARGeo application and related services. 1.2 Personal Data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("Data Subject"); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more factors specific to his/her physical, physiological, genetic, psychic, economic, cultural or social identity. 1.3 Usage Data: Personal Data collected automatically through the ARGeo application, including through third-party applications integrated within the same, namely: the IP addresses of the User's device or the domain names of the devices used by the User accessing the ARGeo application, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses, the time of the request, the method used to forward the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc.), the country of origin, the characteristics of the browser and operating system used by the visitor, the various time connotations of the visit (for example, the time spent on each page) and details of the route followed within the ARGeo application, with particular reference to the sequence of pages viewed, the parameters relating to the operating system and computer environment of the User. 1.4 Third Party: natural and/or legal persons who do not have the status of User. 1.5 ARGeo application: the hardware or software tool through which User's Personal Data are collected and processed. 1.6 Services or related Services: Services provided by Fimesp in accordance with clause 6 of the Terms and Conditions applicable to the ARGeo application [insert link to the Terms and Conditions]. 1.7 Cookies: small portion of data stored within the User's device and released by Fimesp or by Third Parties through the ARGeo application. 2. Changes to the Cookies Policy From time to time, Fimesp may update this Cookies Policy to inform the User about changes to the Cookies we use or for any other legal or administrative reason. Any update to this Cookies Policy will be notified to the User via a banner on the ARGeo application. 3. Types and characteristics of the Cookies Cookies consist of portions of code installed within the browser of the User's device to access and use the ARGeo application and related Services. Cookies are used by Fimesp to provide the ARGeo application and Services for the different purposes described. Cookies can be temporary (i.e. when they are automatically deleted at the end of a browsing session) or permanent (i.e. when they remain stored on the User's device unless the User decides to delete them). In addition, Cookies may qualify as first party Cookies (i.e. when they are set up and managed directly by Fimesp) and third party Cookies (when they are managed by a domain of a Third-Party website). In addition, depending on their function, Cookies are divided into the following categories: Technical Cookies: Necessary Cookies that allow the User to navigate in the application and provide access to the application and related Services (e.g. Cookies that recognize language preferences, i.e. functionality Cookies, session Cookies or navigation Cookies). Analytical Cookies: Cookies that collect aggregate and statistical information about the User (for example, cookies that identify the number of Users visiting a website). Where Analytical Cookies are first party Cookies, they are treated in the same way as Technical Cookies. Profiling Cookies: Cookies that control and track the User's navigation through and within the ARGeo application, analysing the User's Personal Data in order to create a profile corresponding to the same (e.g. Cookies that collect information in order to send behavioural/targeted advertising). Cookies installed by Fimesp help it understand how the User uses the ARGeo application and related Services and how to ensure the best possible functioning by memorizing the User's preferences. Cookies may also be used to assist and profile the User as well as to provide targeted marketing and promotional messages, i.e. based on the User's preferences and interests depending on the User's use of the ARGeo application and related Services. Some of the services integrated in the ARGeo application are managed by Third Parties, which perform or can perform monitoring activities of the User through their own Cookies. Since the installation of Cookies and other similar technologies by Third Parties through the integrated services within the ARGeo application cannot be technically controlled by Fimesp, any specific reference to such Cookies and technologies installed by Third Parties is subject only to the responsibility of the latter. If the User does not select it, at the following access he/she will be asked to log in. How can the User consent to the installation of Cookies? The User has the right to decide whether to accept or reject Cookies. In addition to managing Cookies preferences from the navigation settings, Users can also express consent to authorize all or some of the Cookies used on the ARGeo application, as explained in the table above. Users' choice to enable or disable the use of Cookies must be expressed in connection with each device and browser implemented by Users to access the Platform. Since most browsers are set to automatically accept Cookies, the User -through the browser preferences- can also delete Cookies already installed, including the Cookies in which the User saved his/her consent allowing the ARGeo application to install Cookies. In any case, the User is informed that failure to give consent to the use of technical Cookies may make it impossible to use the ARGeo application, view its contents and use the related Services. If the User withdraws his/her consent to the use of technical Cookies, some of the contents, features or Services provided through the ARGeo application may not be available or may not function properly. With reference to the Cookies installed by Third Parties, the User may also manage the settings relating to such Cookies and withdraw consent to their installation by accessing the website of Third Parties and activating the relevant opt-out link, if available, in compliance with the provisions of the privacy policy of Third Parties or by contacting the same directly. User's withdrawal of consent to Third Party Cookies will not affect the use of the ARGeo application, its contents and functions and related Services, although access to some functions may be limited. Without prejudice to the foregoing, the User may make use of the information provided by EDAA (EU), Network Advertising Initiative (USA) and Digital Advertising Alliance (USA), DAAC (Canada), DDAI (Japan) or other similar services. With these services the User can manage the Cookies preferences of most advertising tools.
